The CARE Project at IISER Pune hosted the inaugural VOICE Fellowship, a five-day residential training programme on climate, environment, and public health communication from 16-20 December 2025. The first cohort comprised over 40 grassroots journalists and storytellers selected from across India, representing diverse regional and community contexts. As part of the fellowship, Dr Ritu Parchure from Prayas Energy Group spoke on Heat and Health. She covered broader health effects beyond heat stroke, including cardiovascular, respiratory, and renal impacts.
